The individual

At the one extreme we have individualism and at the other end collectivism. Almost nobody can live without being part of a collective. And no collective totally ignores the individual. Societies are categorized as being individualistic or collectivistic. True history we see a convergence between the two: Individualism becomes more collectivistic and vice-versa.
