Generation 3.0

3.0 is related the generations

Baby boomers: are those born between (roughly) 1945 and 1955. This generation has a some common experiences. They were introduced to the rising postwar prosperity and went to study in the turbulent period between 1965 and 1975.

Generation X: this group comprises roughly the people who were born between 1961 and 1981. This generation is in Belgium and the Netherlands the Generation Nix or Lost Generation, since this group during the period of economic decay after the second oil crisis experienced difficulties to enter the labour market. They had recently graduated (in many cases at one of the universities) and had many effort to find work, because the companies personnel recruitment limited and went pruning through an efficient wage policy. University graduates had by this change business management acquired the name too expensive compared to graduates at college or graduaat niveau.

Generation Y: born between 1982 and 2001. The Generation Y excels in other competencies and

has different values than its previous generations. Competencies where the generation Y high scores and excels: entrepreneurship, customer focus, decisiveness, environmental awareness, initiatief.

Generation Z: the new Generation Z was born between 1990 up to and including the beginning of the current millennium is coming and flows in 2020 the jobs. Jos Ahlers and René CW Boender describe in their controversial book the rise of these unstoppable, digital generation.
