Op 4 oktober 2015 citeerde ik Steve Jobs op mijn Facebook wall: “It doesn’t make sense to hire smart people and tell them what to do; we hire smart people so they can tell us what to do.” (Steve Jobs)
Ik vroeg: “Do we hire smart people?”. En ik greeg de volgende reacties.
Ernst Stutterheim: Sometimes "we" do. but then "we" block them, or "we" constructively dismiss them, or "we" boycott them. Then the smart people leave.
Jonathan Estanista: Bon quote !!
Joyce Plaate: You got it 200% right: that's why we DON'T hire smart people. And should our attention slip and we *accidentally* find that the dummy we hired is actually smart, yes, then goes what Ernst Stutterheim mentioned above.
Stanley Brown: Today we can learn to listen too smart people like Miguel Goede on Facebook. I do and
Miguel Goede: True. They do not hire us.
Ernst Stutterheim: I worked with passion, fervour and dedication in Curacao for 9 years to enhance education and spirituality. Smart people address corruption, stupidity and inefficiency and that is not appreciated by the corrupt, the stupid and the lazy. When they get in charge they take revenge.
Richard Leito: We hire OUR people ! It doesn't matter if they are Smart or Not, they just need to belong/be part to our kind of people !!
Ernst Stutterheim: What if you have a toothache, but "our person" has not been trained, would you give him the hi-speed diamond-hard drill and open your mouth?
Ronald Rouse: Ernst Stutterheim you hit the nail squarely on the head.
Joyce Plaate: Ernst Stutterheim, you KNOW that when the one who did the hiring needs anything for his health, his home or his money, he will never resort to the ones he has hired himself, so for his toothache he will likely go to Colombia, on our expenses. WE are the ones stuck with the incompetent one.
Anthony Guillermo: Miguel Goede keremi, ora bo wak esunan ku ta hire awendia serka mi donjo di trabou, automatikamente hopi di esnan ku nan ta hire ta bira smart people. Less smart people hiring people make all who apply look smart.
