Failed state
A failed state is a state perceived as having failed at some of the basic conditions and responsibilities of a sovereign government. There is no general consensus on the definition of a failed state. The definition of a failed state according to the Fund for Peace is often used to characterize a state with the following characteristics:
Loss of control of its territory, or of the monopoly on the legitimate use of physical force therein
Erosion of legitimate authority to make collective decisions
Inability to provide public services
Inability to interact with other states as a full member of the international community
Common characteristics of a failing state include a central government so weak or ineffective that it has little practical control over much of its territory; non-provision of public services; widespread corruption and criminality; refugees and involuntary movement of populations; and sharp economic decline.[1]
The level of government control required to avoid being considered a failed state varies considerably amongst authorities.[2] Furthermore, the declaration that a state has "failed" is generally controversial and, when made authoritatively, may carry significant geopolitical consequences.[2]
Rechterlijke macht
Er is ergens zo iets als schennis van de rechterlijke macht.
Contempt of court, often referred to simply as "contempt," is the offense of being disobedient to or disrespectful of a court of law and its officers in the form of behavior that opposes or defies the authority, justice, and dignity of the court.[1][2] It manifests itself in willful disregard of or disrespect for the authority of a court of law, which is often behavior that is illegal because it does not obey or respect the rules of a law court.[3][4]
Maar de rechterlijke macht voldoet niet en moet bekritiseerd kunnen worden. Niet alleen zijn de uitspraken van de rechter voor zelfs een hoogopgeleide burger niet te volgen. De rechter doet er een eeuwigheid over en de gang naar de rechter is onbetaalbaar. Vele burgers kunnen ondanks een pro deo advocaat hun zak noot aan de rechter voorleggen. Je recht halen is een kwestie van geld. Verder beschermt de rechter het individu nauwelijks tegen grote organisatie en de overheid. De gang naar de rechter is sterk af te raden. Het is niet verwonderlijk dat steeds meer mensen het recht in eigen hand nemen. Dus als je de illusie hebt door het recht beschermt te worden, wordt wakker, het is een illusie. VAB
Grondwater
Door geen beleid en droogte is het grondwater sterk gedaald en verzout, met alle gevolgen voor de natuur. Er is sprake van een ecologische ramp.
