In general literacy is high in the Caribbean SIDS.

Antigua and Barbuda 85.8%
Aruba 97.3%
Bahamas 95.6%
Barbados 99.7%
Belize 76.9%
British Virgin Island 97.8%
Cuba 99.8%
Dominica 94%
Dominican Republic 87%
Grenada 96%
Guyana 91.8%
Haiti 52.9%
Jamaica 87.9%
Montserrat 97%
Netherlands Antilles 99%

Saint Kitts and Nevis 97.8%

There are some concerning low scores: Haiti, Domincan Republic, Antigua and Barbuda and Suriname. Remarkable is that Singapores scores 92.5%.

Why is it remarkable that Singapore scores 92.5%?
Given the other scores of Singapore, I expected it to be much higher.
